Bariatric Surgery

JHAH’s nascent obesity and bariatric surgery program took a significant step forward during the recent clinical rotation by Dr. Hien Nguyen, Johns Hopkins Medicine (JHM) bariatric surgeon and Assistant Professor of Surgery; Carol Cronauer, Program Director, JHM Center for Bariatric Surgery; and Tisha Mathews, surgical technician. Dr. Nguyen, along with three JHAH surgeons and Mathews, performed 11 surgeries designed to not only improve the health of the patients but to further the surgical skills of the JHAH bariatric surgery team. “It was a pleasure to work with a team so dedicated to achieving excellent patient outcomes,” said Dr. Nguyen.
