Abdulwahab Al-khamis is an esteemed professional in the healthcare sector with 25 years of experience. He is an associate professor specializing in finance, healthcare systems, and insurance for postgraduate students. Recognized as a consultant in healthcare administration by Saudi Commission for Health Specialties, Al-Khamis holds a professional certification in Public-Private Partnerships (PPP). His research contributions include the first scientific papers on healthcare financing in the GCC countries, privatization and partnership with the private sector in healthcare in Saudi Arabia, and health policy in the Saudi Arabian context.

Al-Khamis has held key positions in renowned healthcare institutions, such as the King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Center, where he served as an associate executive director for operations. He has actively contributed to the Kingdom's Vision 2030, serving as the Director of the Healthcare and Education Sector at the National Center for Privatization and the Director of the Healthcare Sector at the Efficiency and Projects Authority. As a Senior Advisor to the CEO in the Healthcare Transformation Program.
