Dr. Hussam has extensive experience in tackling some of the largest challenges in transforming healthcare. He is currently CEO of Center for National Health Insurance as well as a Professor of Cardiology, College of Medicine, King Saud University medical city, and consultant interventional cardiologist. Previously he has help drive major change in over 10 different prominent positions in the public health sector including as CEO, and initiative owner of the Program for Health Assurance and Purchasing. He has also authored and co-authored more than 50 articles in peer reviewed journals in the field of cardiology with special emphasis on service delivery outcomes, and risk profiling of ACS, and heart failure patients.
