Zahiyah AlAmry

Mrs. Zahyian AlAmry is a Health Information Management (HIM) professional and MBA alumnus with rich experience in the HIM field in the Healthcare industry for more than 15 years. Currently holds the role of Revenue Cycle Management Project Lead at Johns Hopkins Aramco Healthcare (JHAH); previously held the Director of the Health Information Management Division with JHAH and Saudi Aramco Medical Services Organization and held other professional and leadership roles. Mrs. AlAmry was part of the Saudi Aramco first Young Leaders Advisory Board (YLAB) cohort back in 2011 working on initiatives and deep dives covering multiple topics evolved around young employees' affairs in the company.

Mrs. AlAmry has been involved in multiple projects impacting the HIM operations within her organization and nationally. She played a major role during the implementation and go-live of Epic Electronic Health Record which has been the first implementation of its kind in the kingdom, and more recently with the Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) project and implementation of JHAH’s first billing system. She started with the RCM project as the lead for the Coding Conversion and CDI implementation, then resumed the role of RCM Project lead. Mrs. AlAmry is a certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt from the Saudi Aramco OCD.

Outside of JHAH, she is the Secretary General and a founding Board Member of the Saudi Health Information Management Association (SHIMA) and she led the organizing committee during the International Federation of Health Information Management Association (IFHIMA) Congress held 2019. She also presented and moderated sessions in local events in the field of Health Information Management, and member of the ICD-11 taskforce within the GCC.
