What is the new policy JHAH has activated for patients who arrive late for a Primary Care appointment?

Any patient who registers late at reception for their scheduled Primary Care appointment will be advised to reschedule.

Does this policy apply for all appointments (including specialty appointments)?

No, currently this policy only applies to the Dhahran Primary Care.

Will my appointment automatically be rescheduled if I am late?

No, it is the responsibility of the patient to reschedule their appointment.

Why has this new policy been activated?

Late arrival at appointments has a significant impact on access to care. This change has been implemented to enable to best possible use of JHAH resources and to improve our ability to provide the right care at the right time. Accommodating someone who is late has potentially severe consequences for other patients.

What if I need to refill my medication?

You can drop in to the Medication Management Clinic in the Primary Care Pharmacy. Alternatively, you can request medication refills and access information about your medications through MyChart. Log in to MyChart and click ‘Refill/Renew Medications’ under the Quick Links tab to the right of your screen. If you have not registered for MyChart, sign-up now.

Where can I find more information about this policy?

All JHAH registered patients will have received an SMS to advise them of the change. Additionally, an email blast was sent to all Saudi Aramco employees. Information regarding this policy can also be found on JHAH.com, and in JHAH appointment notifications, MyChart messages, and appointment slips.

How do I cancel/reschedule a Primary Care appointment?

To cancel or reschedule appointments, please use MyChart or call the centralized contact center at 800-305-4444 (advance notice of 24 hours’ notice is required).
