Walid A. Al-Zakri Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Prior to becoming Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for Johns Hopkins Aramco Healthcare, Al-Zakri was the Head of Risk Oversight & Compliance within Financial Risk Management at Saudi Aramco.

Al-Zakri brings a wealth of experience to the CFO position, including roles in the Accounting, Treasury, and Auditing functions in Saudi Aramco and its joint ventures. He was head of General Ledger Accounting within the Controller’s organization, where he led the reconciliation of intercompany accounts and served in four assignments: Capital Programs, Financial Reporting & Tax Compliance, Domestic Sales and Projects as well as Fixed Assets Accounting. He was also selected as a member of the Saudi Aramco Strategic Transformation Office.

In addition, Al-Zakri served as the General Auditor for the Saudi Aramco Total Refining and Petrochemical Company (SATORP). Moreover, he served as the Chief Financial Officer of Vela International Marine, Ltd.

Al-Zakri holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals. He is a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) and holds Certification in Control Self-Assessment (CCSA).
