Dr. Ata Smadi
Cardiac anesthesia is a critical and complex field of perioperative medicine. Our goal at JHAH is to provide quality anesthetic care paying careful attention to details so we greatly enhance patient safety and outcomes. It is a discipline that I have been fortunate to practice for more than 15 years now.

Although I am involved with many types of surgeries, I am currently very excited about being a member of the new advanced cardiac surgery team. Playing a role in these lifesaving procedures is the very reason I became a physician and work hard to fulfill my role to serve, educate and relieve suffering.
