Dr. Alsheikh has been with the Vision Realization Office in the Ministry of Health since 2017 where he is responsible for the strategy of prudent care and population health management. In addition, he has worked as a consultant in clinical leadership at the Center of National Health Insurance. With his clinical and practical experience in health informatics, health systems and health economics, he has the ability to design and implement innovative digital health transformation initiatives. His career has included roles as a consultant, physician, assistant professor and department head.
Dr. Alsheikh holds board certification in preventive medicine and has completed a post-doctoral fellowship in health informatics at the School of Medicine at Johns Hopkins University, USA. Additionally, he holds a Master’s Degree in Public Health as well as American Board of Public Health certification and Project Management certification from the Project Management Institute.
