Dr. Nakshabandi obtained his MBBS degree from the College of Medicine at King Saud University in 1994. After graduation, he completed clinical training in urology at Prince Sultan Military Medical City (PSMMC), earning his specialist certification through the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS) and receiving his Saudi Board (SB-Urol) certification in 2000.

Following this, Dr. Nakshabandi completed a three-year clinical fellowship in Pediatric Urology at Tufts Medical Center in Boston, MA, and has been certified as both a Urologist and Pediatric Urologist since 2003. From 2016 to 2019, he served as the Chief Academic Officer at the SCFHS. He was subsequently appointed Chief Executive Officer of the National Center for Health Workforce Planning at the SCFHS, a position he has held since 2019.
