Blood Pressure Lifestyle Management
The blood Pressure Lifestyle Management (BLSM) program is an evidence-based approach to preventing hypertension in prehypertensive patients by promoting healthy lifestyle habits. The program is carried out over four months, providing six live virtual sessions reinforced by Video-assisted, web-based lifestyle intervention shared via MyChart post each session. In addition, it includes initial and follow-up assessments of blood pressure, weight, and BMI over three months. The virtual sessions are conducted through Skype and include educational videos sent to participants post-sessions.
