We provide expert support at both our Al-Hasa and Dhahran facilities and would like to assure you that the care of our patients and visitors is our top priority. General information

  • Visitors must be of 14 years or above
  • It is important that visitors use hand gel sanitizer when entering and leaving the ward. Please feel free to ask staff if they have washed their hands
  • Please do not visit for 48 hours if you have had diarrhea or vomiting
  • Please do not visit if you have a cough, cold or sore throat
  • Please use the chairs provided in the room and do not sit on the patient's bed, and always use the visitors' toilets
  • Flowers are prohibited in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
  • Talk to staff if you have concerns about the cleanliness of the ward or public areas
  • If the visiting times cause difficulties, please speak to a staff member
  • Please check with our nursing teams about bringing in food items

The main cafeteria for visitors and staff is located on the ground floor in Building 3, opposite the administration.

Coffee stations

Al-Hasa has coffee stations in its outpatient area, offering a wide range of beverages and hot and cold snacks.

Vending machines

Available throughout the hospital, these offer beverages as well as a selection of snacks.

Additional Services

Mosques and prayer rooms 

Al-Hasa’s female prayer area is located near the rehabilitation unit.

Flower shop 

A flower shop can be found near the main entrance.

Cash machine 

Al-Hasa’s ATM can be found at the inpatient main entrance of the hospital.

Bedside TV and phone service

Most wards have televisions and bedside telephones.

Valet Parking

Welcome guides

We offer a welcome guide service to assist you with directions within our hospitals and provide you with a wheelchair if needed. They are stationed at the main entrances of the hospitals and at the Primary Care Building 50 at Dhahran, and the outpatient entrance at Al-Hasa.

Care Services

Pharmacy

At JHAH, we know it is important for you to quickly and easily refill a prescription, or find out more about your prescribed medication. Our MyChart online health portal enables you to arrange medication refills wherever you are, and can send you notifications when medication is available for you to collect or renew. You won’t have to travel far to collect your medication, as all of our clinics have a pharmacy where prescriptions ordered by our expert physicians can be conveniently filled.
