At Johns Hopkins Aramco Healthcare (JHAH), we know it is important for you to quickly and easily refill a prescription, or find out more about your prescribed medication. Your MyChart online health portal enables you to arrange medication refills wherever you are, and can send you notifications when medication is available for you to collect or renew. You won’t have to travel far to collect your medication, as all of our clinics have a pharmacy where prescriptions ordered by our expert physicians can be conveniently filled.

Our pharmacists play an important role in providing you with value-driven pharmaceutical care of the highest quality and safety standards. In addition to checking that your medication is clinically correct, safe, and accurate, they provide health advice on minor health concerns and will talk you through how to take any new medication. They can also support you with medication refill extensions of up to 30 days, and process your medication renewals if your prescriber is unavailable.

Medication refill and renewal

Save time, refill and renew medication online

All Johns Hopkins Aramco Healthcare (JHAH)-registered patients with active refills receive SMS reminders seven days ahead of their due date and you can easily arrange this refill via MyChart.

Arrange for medication refills via your online health portal, MyChart. Once logged in, you can see when your medication is ready for renewal, easily request refills, and find out more about the medication you have been prescribed. Order your medication refill

Times for the collection of medication refills at JHAH Dhahran Primary Care and Specialty Care Pharmacies

  • Primary Care Pharmacy: 4-9 p.m. on weekdays and 9 a.m.-9 p.m. on weekends.
  • Specialist Clinic Pharmacy: 4-6 p.m. on weekdays only.

All other locations will continue to operate medication collections during their usual opening hours.

Alternatively, you can visit any of our Medication Management Clinics (MMC) to obtain a refill or call our Centralized Contact Center to request a refill. If your prescription needs to be renewed and your prescription supply is low, you can visit any MMC to obtain an extension renewal or call the Centralized Contact Center to place an extension renewal request in the system. An extension renewal is a smaller quantity that will ensure your medication doesn’t run out before your next physician appointment.

Virtual consultation with your pharmacist

For your convenience, JHAH offers you secure, virtual face-to-face interactions with a pharmacist.
Have your medication questions answered; get your refills extended; and receive visual advice from your pharmacist, all from the comfort of your home.

JHAH is a keen supporter of ‘EnviroGreen’, which encourages the return of unused and/or expired medications, enabling healthcare professionals to dispose of them in a safe and environmentally friendly manner. Please check your cabinet for unwanted medications, put them in a plastic bag and ensure that liquid preparations are sealed tightly to avoid any spillage. The bag can then be dropped off at our special collection bins, which you can find at all JHAH pharmacy locations.
