Dr. Mojieb Manzary is the Chief of Orthopedics and a Consultant Orthopedic Surgeon with more than 28 years of clinical experience. He is also an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Orthopedic Surgery at Johns Hopkins Medicine.

Dr. Manzary is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. He earned his medical degree with honors from King Saud University College of Medicine. He completed his orthopedic residency at the University of Toronto, Canada, followed by advanced fellowship training in hip and knee reconstruction at the University of British Columbia, Vancouver, Canada.

Dr. Manzary is a past chair of the Arthroplasty Chapter of the Saudi Orthopedic Association and currently serves as the Chair of the Knee Subspecialty Committee of the Société Internationale de Chirurgie Orthopédique et de Traumatologie (SICOT, International Society of Orthopaedic Surgery and Traumatology).

He is also an active member of several prominent orthopedic societies, including the International Congress on Joint Reconstruction (ICJR), the Asia Pacific Hip Society (APHS), and the Asia Pacific Arthroplasty Society (APAS).

In recognition of his outstanding contributions, Dr. Manzary received the National Patient Safety Award in 2018 for achieving a zero-infection rate in knee surgeries.

His research interests include functional outcomes in total hip arthroplasty (THA), total knee replacement (TKR) and the anthropometric parameters in Asian patients undergoing knee surgery. He has a particular focus on THA in patients with sickle cell disease.

Dr. Manzary has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications and contributed to the development of hip and knee arthritis data for the International Consortium for Health Outcomes Measurement. He has also been involved with the international consensus group on infection and venous thromboembolism in joint replacement (ICM). In addition, he serves as a faculty member for the AO Recon Foundation and is an advisory committee member for AO Recon Middle East. He has also served as an examiner for the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS) orthopedic board certification exams.
