Before your first appointment

Once you have been registered, you will be ready to begin your healthcare journey with JHAH. Whether or not you require medical attention straightaway, we advise you to start with selecting your Primary Care physician.

You can choose your Primary Care physician in one of the following ways:

  1. Browse through your area’s available physicians in our physician directory and request your preferred physician. You need to provide a few personal details and submit the request online. We will confirm your request by email and send you an update as soon as your request has been processed

  2. Sign up to our online health portal, MyChart. Providing an intuitive user experience, MyChart enables you to manage your medical profile at any time, and from any place – as long as you have an internet connection. To send us a request for available physicians, go to: Messaging > Message Center > Contact Customer Service. Select PCP Change Request and send your request

  3. By visiting the reception desk at your nearest Primary Care clinic

Please note: If you wish to change your assigned physician at any time, you will need to provide valid justification using one of the contact options above. Your request will be reviewed, and you should expect an answer within one month.

Scheduling your first appointment

When you need to arrange a first meeting with your Primary Care physician, you can do this by either:

  • Signing up to our online health portal, MyChart. Select: Appointments and Visits > Schedule an Appointment, and you will be able to choose from the available time slots. If your physician is not available at your preferred time you have the option to schedule an appointment with another physician from your Care Team

  • Calling our Centralized Contact Center on 800-305-4444 (in Kingdom) or +966-13-870-3888 (out of Kingdom). Our call agents are available Sunday through Thursday between 7 a.m. and 4 p.m.

On the day of your appointment, please arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled slot to allow time to register with the reception (see timely arrival FAQs below). If you are unable to attend, please cancel as per the instructions on your appointment notification. This will enable our doctors and clinical staff to provide care to others.

Please bring any medication you are currently taking. If you are bringing your child to see a doctor for the first time, please carry their available medical reports and immunization records, and make sure that they are accompanied by a guardian.

You do not need to make an appointment to visit our Walk-in Care Clinics. However, please be aware that you may have to wait longer to be seen.

To make an appointment at one of our specialty clinics, you will need a referral from your Primary Care physician. Referrals are based on medical need.
